Dr. Thomas J. Guilmette, a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist, achieved his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri and completed a clinical psychology internship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and a postdoctoral fellowship in adult and pediatric neuropsychology at Brown Medical School. He is a Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience at Providence College and an Adjunct Professor at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Dr. Guilmette was formerly director of neuropsychology at Newport, Rhode Island and Fatima Hospitals. He has published over 50 professional articles as well as books and book chapters relevant to neuropsychology. He has expertise in late adolescent, adult and geriatric neuropsychology with particular interest in ADHD, traumatic brain injury, including concussion, diverse neurologic disorders affecting brain function such as stroke, mild cognitive impairment, and dementia.
