What to expect

This appointment can take approximately 3-4 hours.  Intake, testing and feedback are performed in one session.  You will receive several breaks.

During this examination you will be asked questions and given tasks that will provide data on the following critical brain functions:  Attention, language, memory, visual spatial skills, and problem solving.  In addition, we will assess your mood to have a better understanding of your emotional status.  The testing does not involve any invasive or physically painful procedures.  The evaluation contains talking back and forth and some writing.  Most individuals find the tasks challenging and interesting.

If possible, please bring a family member with you to provide additional information (spouse, parent, child, etc.). Comprehensive feedback is given at the conclusion of testing.

Complete the following intake questionnaire to start the process.

We look forward to working with you.
